Michael H. McCann, President and Chief Executive Officer

Michael H. McCann has extensive experience working in entrepreneurial companies, Fortune 500 companies and major regional and Wall Street investment banking firms. He has led companies in finance, publishing, software and healthcare information technology. In addition to his 15 years in corporate and international finance, he has served as CEO of five start-up and early-stage companies as well as serving on their Boards. He recently served four years as CEO for an electronic medical records software company, which he took through startup and secured the initial funding. Prior to that time, he was CEO of a supply chain software company and secured financing from a Fortune 100 company.

Mr. McCann has extensive experience in leading sales and service driven organizations. His publishing company was consistently in the top 10% in a national network of over 200 publishers of advertising and free distribution publications.

Mr. McCann was Director of Project Finance for Santa Fe International Corporation, a former Fortune 500 company engaged in engineering, project construction and drilling for the oil industry. Prior to that time, he was an investment banker with Drexel Burnham Lambert Incorporated and a major regional investment banking firm, successfully completing financings ranging from $5 million to over $75 million. His primary focus was on healthcare financing for non-profit community hospitals.

Mr. McCann served on the Board of Directors of the Forum for Corporate Directors including two years as Chairman. He is a member of the Orange Coast Venture Group and former member of the World Business Academy and the Association for Corporate Growth. He has served on the Boards of Directors of the New Majority Committee and a major support group of the Orange County Performing Arts Center. He served four years in the US Air Force where he attended the Defense Language Institute before serving as a Russian voice intercept operator in West Berlin. He holds a BA from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from Pepperdine University and recently completed the UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Management’s Director Training Program.

Mark Gart

Mark Gart brings to the Company a broad background in numerous management positions including Marketing, Business Development, Operations, Engineering, and R&D combined with a strong financial methodology. He has worked with a wide selection of notables, including turn-around specialists Aldo Gigliotti and Richard Smith at Anacomp, Xidex and Seagate. He has held positions in public, private and start-ups from a Divisional Manager to President.

Prior to forming MBG Technologies, Mr. Gart blended his knowledge and experience in scientific research, international business and technology development with his entrepreneurial acumen to bring success to several emerging technology and biotechnology companies, such as Bio-Rad Laboratories, Sonometric Systems Inc. (Philips Ultrasound) and Sunflex Inc.

As a principal in such start-ups as LumaCare Medical Group, MBG Technologies, Inc., RedHawk Vision and A&H he has specialized in medical, high tech imaging and Internet based service companies. Mr. Gart has also provided marketing, business development and consulting services to companies, such as, Lynton Lasers, Mitsubishi Entertainment, Harris Corporation, Tanner Research, Inc, Inline Inc., Semicon Advanced Technology, Samsung, and Mattel Corporation.

Mr. Gart has negotiated strategic relationships and partnerships with such enterprises as: Adobe, AOL, Apple, Canon, Disney, HP, IBM, Mattel, Mitsubishi, Motorola, Sanyo, Playboy, Walgreen’s, WarnerBros and others. He has also been very active in international business development and has successfully built several distributions and service support channels within EMEA and Asia Pac Countries.

Recently Mr. Gart has been involved in a medical device company (LumaCare Medical Group) treating various indications from PDT Oncology to simple OTC Pain Management. LumaCare® developed a portfolio of IP incorporating US and International granted patents and several proprietary processes. Mr. Gart received a BS in Physics from LaSalle Collage.

Shane A. Johnson

Shane A. Johnson is the Founder and Managing Director of PaintBrush Capital Advisors, an independent strategic advisory firm with domain expertise in the fields of biotechnology, medical devices, and healthcare, including healthcare IT. Prior to founding PaintBrush, Mr. Johnson served as a Principal at Hamilton BioVentures, a Life Science venture capital firm. Previously, he worked as an Engagement Manager in the Life Science Practice at L.E.K. Consulting, an international strategy consulting firm, as the Director of Strategic Planning at Bionomix (now Eidogen-Sertanty), a computational chemistry and bioinformatics company, and as the Director of Strategic Planning at Arbor Vita Corporation, a development-stage bottherapeutics company.

Mr. Johnson is currently on the Board of Directors of Integrigen, a next-generation antibody therapeutics company, and Fritsche Capital Group, a private and independent investment bank. He is also a Board Observer at Sendside Networks, a software communication company with broad applications in healthcare, finance, legal services, etc., and sits on the advisory board of Red Shift Company, LLC, a research-stage company pursuing breakthrough speech recognition technologies.

With an active interest in international health, Mr. Johnson has done considerable volunteer work in areas such as Latin America and Papua New Guinea. Shane received a B.A. in Studio Art and a B.S. in Neuroscience (with honors) from Brown University, and was awarded an M.D. from the Stanford University School of Medicine. He is also a Fulbright Scholar.

Zachary Coffin

Zachary Coffin is General Partner and CEO of Coffin Capital is a private firm with interests in financial services, healthcare, media and technology. Previously, Mr. Coffin was with KPMG, and served as the firm’s first Global XBRL Leader, overseeing a hundred partners and managers in twenty countries to create a standard that has been adopted by investors and regulators around the world. His pioneering leadership in XBRL changed the way thousands of companies report performance information.

A keynote speaker and expert on globalization, media and transparency, Mr. Coffin has at conferences from Wall Street symposiums to the World Congress of Accountants in Hong Kong, and in universities from MIT’s Media Lab to the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India. He has written for publications ranging from Investor Relations Quarterly to the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda, and has been cited by news such as CNN, Dow Jones, Nikkei and Reuters.

Mr. Coffin has served on the Board of Columbia University’s School of General Studies Alumni Association; Chaired the International Advisory Committee for Virtual Communications at RMIT University’s School of Creative Media (Melbourne, Australia); and was Liaison Chairman and a Founding Member of XBRL International, a consortium of 550 organizations totaling over $3 Trillion in market capitalization. He holds a M.F.A. degree from USC, and a B.A., magna cum laude, from Columbia University.
